They do work in MP, but as you've seen, you only get their earnings sporadically. You have to Sleep, Fast Travel to a garage, use F7 and get rescued to a Repair Shop, use a Train/Ferry crossing, or visit a Truck Dealer. One of those actions will force a sync and cause the game to calculate employee earnings. That sucks. I need more euromoneys
The hired drivers are there only as a money booster, to get virtual money quicker. Much like an "in-game money cheat". Some players do see them as parts in the big trucking empire, but you cannot do anything but hire them, give them a truck and watch that number representing your virtual bank account. No strategy at all.As they progress so shall their carrying/earning potential as the number of available jobs increases and number of "empty" runs will decrease. Well, that has been my experience anyway. As my AI drivers levelled up so the "unable to find a job" popped up a lot less. It's only when I hire new drivers it seems to increase in frequency.
Ok i' have discovered how to fix this issue. 1st Right click your Display. Change your Resolution to 1280x720. 2nd Load in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and change the in-game resolution to 1920x1080, Save it. 3rd Exit the game and change your Display settings back to 1920x1080 and it will work fine again. #13. For them to tell you they don't have one means either:-. 1. You sold their truck by mistake. 2. You relocated driver without their truck. 3. You relocated truck without the driver. The more drivers you hire, the more processing time needs to be given to calculating their progress. And you're right, people with low-end systems don't max out the graphics, but the graphics settings don't creep up while they play, either. You're not being screwed.
